Scope and Contents
Signers include: William Clark, Ninian Edwards, and Auguste Chouteau, Commissioners Plenipotentiary of the U. S.; Ke-man-ha (the Wind facer), for the Arkansas or Santsukhdhi band; Ca-y-ga-tang-ge (the Great Chief), first signer for the Little Osage or Utsehta band, followed by 11 others; Te-shu-hing-ga (White Hair), first signer for the Great Osage or Pahatsi band, followed by 10 others; 13 U. S. Army officers, Indian agents and interpreters as witnesses. Most of the names are copied hurridly in the same hand as the treaty.

Presented to the Bureau of American Ethnology on indefinite loan, March, 1952, by Henry Lookout, Pawhuska, Oklahoma, son of Fred Lookout, last principal chief of the Osage.
