Mr Dexter writes: "It is on two separate pages, which, however, seem to be of the same date and very likely the same origin, though that does not appear to be absolutely certain. I have marked the distinction between the two pages by a line drawn in the transcript which I send herewith." He also writes: "There is no indication of the source of his information, except one note which refers it, or some part of it, to a Pequot near New London." (W.W.T.)
