It is a revision and expansion by O.T. Mason of the contents of File Number 665, a Grammar by Cyrus Byington. There is also a short vocabulary attached alphabetically arranged on strips pasted on larger sheets of paper. Includes English-Choctaw, and Choctaw-English. Letter from H.S. Halbert to O.T. Mason, October 9, 1881, included. Also xerox of letter from Mason to Hodge 2-27-97 from Bureau of American Ethnology correspondence file.
