Includes description by a Weitchpec school teacher 1905-1911 of the Deerskin Dance in the village of Weitchpec in 1907; correspondence between Pilling and author's daughter Emily Power about her loan of the manuscript to Pilling; and related notes by the latter on the manuscript and Weitchpec School Record Books. Note that there is no specific mention of Yuroks in the manuscript.
