A bird's-eye view of the temple grounds with numerous Buddhist religious structures and streets and dwellings in the surrounding areas, including the Sumida River view with bridges and water raft. On the same mount is a small photograph of the "Modern Sumida River," which shows the river and part of an iron bridge.

Gift from Mrs. Lispernard Seabury Crocker, 1961 She collected it in Japan in the 1930s. From July 31 to August 5, 1939, the map was in the exhibit entitled "Around the World" in the Historic Warner House, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. It was transferred from the artifactual collection of the Department of Anthropology to the National Anthropological Archives by Chang-su Houchins in Arpil 1984.
