The collection consists of a poster advertising a circus. It shows sketches of a variety of circus acts and includes a photomechanical portrait of Ueda, perhaps the head of the circus company.

Custodial History
The poster was donated to the Smithsonian by Richard Woodbury in 1969. It had been acquired by the donors' grandparents. The poster was transferred from the object collections of the Department of Anthropology to the National Anthropological Archives by Chang-su Houchins in February 1984.
