Scope and Contents
The material consists of an autographed reprint or proof of an article by Mercer together with twelve photographs. There are also four pages of notes made from the article in the hand of Otis Tufton Mason. Most of the material concerns a site worked by Mercer at Gaddis Run in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Two photographs show specimens from Trenton, New Jersey, in the C. C. Abbott collection at the Peabody Museum at Harvard University.
