"Shihwapmukh or Shushwaps" (Shuswap) vocabulary "obtained at Fort Colville in 1859 from a woman of the tribe with the assistance of the man from whom the Kalispelm was obtained" (cf. Manuscript Number 227, part 16, for this vocabulary); the "Nikutemukh, also called Samena," vocabulary "obtained at Fort Hope in 1858 from Kwe-ta'likh-kan,..." (cf. Manuscript Number 227, parts 9, 10, and 22); and on the "Shwoyelpi," vocabulary of the tribe at Fort Colville, 1859. (No copy of this vocabulary has been located).
