The photographs include: carved thunderbird from old clan house in Klukwan; Chilkat Valley eagles; gillnet boats; drying salmon, net housefish house, and portraits of Bill Nigh, Frankie Jimmy, Tom Abbott, Cory James Mann, Mike Earl Mann, Lilly Klanott-Abbott-Nigh, George Abbott, Jeanette Abbott Mann, Brenda Mann, Victoria Mann-Angleo, Ann Abbott, Helen Abbott, Charlie Abbott, and Jennie Thlunaut.

The materials were prepared in a effort to interest the Smithsonian in purchasing a fishing hut belonging to the family of Victoria Mann-Angelo. They were sent to William Fitzhugh, of the Department of Anthropology, and Fitzhugh sent them to the archives in April 1986.
