Marked, "Dr Yarrow," at top in Hewitt's hand, but Yarrow is not author. Handwriting appears to be Sullivan's (cf. letters in Manuscript file Number 1607); and in Bureau of American Ethnology correspondence files letter Number 745, received September 9, 1881, signed by Sullivan transmits description of "Moquis Snake Dance, which occurred on the 12th instant."
