Individual portraits of anthropologists, including George A. Dorsey in naval uniform, Wenzhong (W. C.) Pei in Beijing, and Davidson Black at Zhoukoudian. Pei and Black are noted as having both been involved in the discovery of Sinanthropus pekinensis (Peking Man).
