Photographs made by Kenneth Blaisdell while he was stationed with the United States Army in Assam. They document Konyak Naga people, villages, and activities, including work for the United States Army. There are also some images of Gurkha soldiers. The original prints were in an album; photocopies of these are available with the collection.

Kenneth Blaisdell was a lieutenant who commanded a platoon of the 679th Signal Aircraft Warning Company in the United States Army Signal Corps. From October 1942 to January 1944, Blaisdell's platoon was assigned to an installation near the Naga Hills, Assam, where they interacted with indigenous people and learned the Naga language.
