Custodial History note
Custodial History note
This collection was found in 1972, along with other collections in Photo Lot 87-2, as something which had been set aside as a "problem collection," though this may only reflect that it was unprocessed. The photographs were collected in the Bureau of American Ethnology and the Department of Anthropology's Division of Ethnology. Some prints, previously in Photo Lot 4, were found in the Department of Anthropology in the 1960s.
