Image of Powhatan's mantle made from four skins sewn together and decorative shell beads. The photograph is accompanied by a news release from the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, November 17, 1989, concerning the mantle's loan from the Ashmolean Museum at Oxford University to be displayed at Jamestown. Photograph probably made by either the Ashmolean Museum or the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation.
