Marjorie W. Cummins is the author of two books about the Tache Yokuts: "The Tache-Yokuts: Indians of the San Joaquin Valley" and "How Coyote Stole the Sun," which is based on a manuscript by Carobeth Laird that Cummins found at the National Anthropological Archives.
