This collection consists of four cosmonaut trading cards, featuring individually the four Soviet members of the Apollo Soyuz Test Project: Aleksei Arkhipovich Leonov, Commander of Soyuz 19; Valeri Nikolayevich Kubasov, flight engineer for Soyuz 19; and Anatoli Vassilyevich Filipchenko and Nikolai Nikolayevich Rukavishnikov, back-up flight crew. Also included is one 11 1/2 by 8 1/2 inch black and white photograph of the four Soyuz 19 cosmonauts in informal dress; photocopies of certificate relating to first international space docking and the combined Apollo Soyuz Test Project Prime Crewmen; and three Soviet postal stamps commemorating the Apollo Soyuz Test Project.

Biographical / Historical
On July 15, 1975, Apollo 18 and Soyuz 19 launched from the United States and the Soviet Union, respectively, to achieve the first docking of spacecraft from different nations two days later on July 17, 1975. The American crew included Thomas P. Stafford, Vance Brand, and Donald K. "Deke" Slayton, and the Soviet crew included the first man to walk in space, Aleksei Arkhipovich Leonov, and Valeri Nikolayevich Kubasov.
