This collection consists of photo album that includes images of various Soviet Bloc aircraft, model aircraft, and some pictures of the original owner of the material, Ludvik Klimek, and his family and friends. Many of the photographs are captioned. The album also contains two newspaper clippings.

This collection consists of an 139 page photo album and nine loose photographs. The photographs are of varying sizes and are mainly black and white, although five are in color. Both the loose photographs and those in the album depict various Soviet Bloc aircraft including the Lisunov Li-2 Cab (PS-84); Fieseler Fi 156 Storch (Stork); Ilyushin Il-18 Clam, Coot; Messerschmitt Me 262; Yakovlev Yak-17 Feather; Yakovlev Yak-23 Flora; VEB Dresden Baade Type 152; Antonov An-24 Coke; Hodek HK 101; Tupolev Tu-104A Camel; Petlyakov Pe-2; Zlin Z 37 melák (Bumble Bee); Lavochkin La-7 (La-120) Fin; MiG MiG-17 Fresco; and various models by Avia (Czech) and Fokker. Many photographs depict airliners and some also show airport facilities. The album also contains photographs of model aircraft, and some pictures of the original owner of the material, Ludvik Klimek, and his family and friends. Many of the photographs are captioned. The album also contains two newspaper clippings.

Ludvik Klimek lived in the northwest region of Czechoslovakia during the 1960s and created this album of Soviet Bloc aircraft. The album was then purchased by the donor in the 1990s and was later donated to the National Air and Space Museum.
