Scope and Contents
This collection consists of a prospectus including the following types of material all relating to Ralph W. Yelli's Ray Airship: blueprints, specifications, cost analysis, revenue estimates, letters of endorsements, and two photographs of a model of the airship.

Biographical / Historical

Biographical / Historical
The Ray Airship was designed by Ralph W. Yelli, a civil engineer from Los Angeles, California. Yelli worked on his design during the late 1920s and early 1930s, but it appears that the airship never progressed past the model/concept design. The airship was designed to transport 100 passengers between Los Angeles and New York.
