Biographical / Historical

Biographical / Historical
The Crouch-Bolas Dragonfly was produced by the Crouch-Bolas Aircraft Corporation of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, 1931-1935. The design work used early STOL technologies that allowed the aircraft steep angles of climb and descent. While the aircraft was very successful in its performances, the corporation was unable to secure the financing to go into production.

John Godfrey was a minor investor in the Crouch-Bolas Dragonfly; in all he invested over 10,000 dollars in the venture.
