This collection consists of six 9 by 11 inch color lithographs from the "They Cheer" poster series from World War II.

During World War II, the Directorate of Air Traffic and Safety and Directorate of Safety Education published a series of posters reinforcing pilot safety using caricatures of Axis leaders Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, and Hideki Tojo, who cheer when the American pilot makes mistakes. The complete set consisted of sixteen posters.
