This collection consists of two black and white images, one 3 by 5.25 inches, the other 3.5 by 5.75 inches, of the Wright (Co) Model C used by the 1st Aero Squadron at Texas City, Texas, 1913.

Biographical / Historical
The Wright (Co) Model C was an early military aircraft, developed as a long-range scouting aircraft for the U.S. Signal Corps' Aeronautical Division. The two seat biplane, powered by a 35-hp Wright Piston engine, had a short service as six of the eight aircraft were destroyed in fatal crashes.
