Consists primarily of scattered correspondence on letterhead stationery, bills, receipts, printed advertisements, advertising cards, illustrated catalogs, blotters, business cards, pamphlets, patents, business cards, price lists and order forms from manufacturers, dealers, builders, contractors, and architects.
The types of doors include fire, garage, store, screen, folding and drawing room. Often companies would sell attachments for the doors including frames, hangers, locks, checks, springs pulls and fasteners. The companies also tended to sell other products such as sashes, blinds, window frames, shutters, moldings, lumber, stair rails, floor siding, newel posts, balusters, sash weights, sash cords, pew ends, bedsteads, window glass and hardware hinges.
