Dylan Vitone received a B.A. in photocommunications from St. Edward's University (Austin, Texas, 2001), and an M.F.A. in photography from the Massachusetts College of Art (2003). At the time of this acquisition he was assistant professor in the School of Design, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh. He is the son of photographer Joe Vitone.
