Collection documents Slaughter's reign as director of the pageant as well as her post-retirement activities. It consists of official pageant materials, such as programs, photographs, internal memos, correspondence, manuals, scholarship information, newspaper clippings, publications, and a reel of film. There is also information about her private life. Materials relating to other pageants can also be found among these materials.
