Between October 1912 and August, 1913, Clancy circumnavigated the globe on a 1912 Henderson motorcycle. During the trip he rode in Europe, Africa, Asia and North America. Afterward he became a silent film director in Hollywood. He later moved to Virginia and made documentary films for the U.S. Department of Forestry.
