Scope and Contents
Scope and Contents
The collection consists mostly of design-related materials for the short-lived Broadway musical "Spiderman: Turn off the Dark." These include images of designs for costume, hair styles, makeup and scenery, presumably used by Ishioka to design the costumes for the show. The collection contains her pencil and ink design drawings for the costumes, fabric samples, and photographs of the costumes being constructed and fitted; also comic books, a playbill, a program, and articles.
