Persuasive printed materials offered by the Association to member utilities, to use as ads in local newspapers or as bill stuffers, on public interest subjects such as holiday safety, energy saving, the conveniences of electric appliances, and other topics; persuasive printed materials, mostly offered by investor-owned utilities, in opposition to public power, many of them asserting that public utilities were "socialist" and ceded too much control to the federal government, or wasted taxpayers' money. Also included is a film marking the 100th anniversary of public power.
