The collection consists of 56 photographs taken by Bob Adelman during the 1960s, on Civil Rights subjects. The subjects include picketing and demonstrations, protesters, arrests and confrontations between police and protesters, billboards on religious and political subjects, and images of segregation and poverty in the American South.
