Morris Jacks was a ptacticing and consulting engineer who graduated from Washington University (St. Louis) in 1920. He supervised construction projects in Missouri and New York City and was president and chief engoneer of Sola Engineering Corporation which worked on excavations and foundations. Jacks also conducted appraisals and the valuation of structural improvements (buildings, fixtures, machinery, piping, and wiring) working for the City of New York , Board of Taxes and Assessments He also acted as an expert witness, providing testimony in state and federal court for legal cases involving construction costs and depreciations of buildings and equipment.
