This accession consists of records that document the planning, curation, and execution of temporary exhibitions at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, including EXPRESSIV, and the WORKS and DIRECTIONS series sponsored by the Museum. The records were created and maintained by Neal David Benezra, Assistant Director for Art and Public Programs (1992-1999); Amada Cruz, Associate Curator (1989-1993); and Ned Rifkin, Chief Curator, 1988-1992. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, loan agreements, brochures, press kits, checklists, budget records, notes, floor plans, exhibition catalogs, scripts, and photographs.
