This accession consists of records that document planning for the seminar "Gender Perspectives: The Impact of Women on Museums," which took place in March 1990. Jane R. Glaser, Special Assistant in the office of the Assistant Secretary for the Arts and Humanities (in 1990, called the office of the Assistant Secretary for Museums), 1989-1994, served as Chairperson, and Artemis A. Zenetou was the Seminar Coordinator. Materials include the correspondence and memoranda of Glaser and Zenetou; minutes of planning meetings; publicity, reception, and logistical information; and lists of speakers and participants.
