This accession consists of records that document environmental reviews of all Smithsonian Institution facilities conducted by the Office of Environmental Management and Safety (OEMS). Materials include notifications of impending inspections, reports of findings and mandatory actions to be completed by a stated deadline and by whom, codes and regulations, reports evaluating actions, recommendations for additional work or approval of actions, Staff Coordinator meeting minutes, and memoranda. Each file contains the following information: Committee Meeting Minutes; Employee Complaints/Unsafe Log Reports; Self-inspections and Corrective Actions; Miscellaneous/Activity Reports/Training Summary OEMS Survey and Replies.
