These records consist of materials created by Richard J. Nicastro that document his role as Budget Director for the National Museum of American History (NMAH), primarily during fiscal years 1997-1998. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, and notes pertaining to personnel actions; federal and trust budget allotments; funding for NMAH collections, exhibitions, events, minority initiatives, and special projects/programs; royalty distributions; and endowment funds.
