This accession consists of records that document the process followed by the Office of the Provost in making decisions about the future of the Barney Studio House and the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. These files were created and maintained by Tom L. Freudenheim, Assistant Provost for the Arts and Humanities. Materials include memoranda; electronic mail messages; position papers; copies of legal documents, press releases, journal articles, non-renewal of lease notices, and eviction notices; decision briefs; income statements, funding histories, budgets, and other financial documents; and planning documents.
