This accession consists of autographed photographs presented to Robert Angus Brooks upon his retirement as Assistant Secretary of the Army in 1969. Colleagues' photographs include: Creighton Williams Abrams; Eugene M. Becker; Frank Schaeffer Besson; William K. Brehm; Edward William Brooke; Ferdinand Joseph Chesarek; Clark M. Clifford; Ralph E. Haines; Willis M. Hawkins; Hubert Horatio Humphrey; Harold Keith Johnson; Lyndon Baines Johnson; Robert E. Jordan, III; Edward Moore Kennedy; H. Brewster Kopp; Lawrence J. Lincoln; John W. Macy; David E. McGiffert; Robert S. McNamara; Thomas D. Morris; Paul H. Nitze; Russell D. O'Neal; Bruce Palmer; James H. Polk; Cyrus Roberts Vance; and William Childs Westmoreland.
Materials also include Brooks' Harvard commencement program and a copy of his Latin address, an itinerary from a 1967 European trip, and copies of newspaper articles about Brooks.
