This accession consists of the curatorial records of Leonhard Stejneger, Curator, 1889-1943, and Doris M. Cochran, Assistant Curator, Associate Curator, and Curator, 1927-1968. These materials pertain to their studies on the Chelydra genus of snapping turtles. Included are correspondence, memoranda, research notes, and photographs of specimens.
