This accession consists of camera rolls used in the production of "John Bull: The World's Oldest Operable Locomotive" (5:11). This 1981 film documents the John Bull, the world's oldest operable locomotive, running down the rails under its own steam on the occasion of its 150th anniversary. It accompanies the National Museum of American History exhibition, "Engines of Change: The American Industrial Revolution, 1790-1860."
