This accession consists of records that document the planning for and installation of the exhibition A Nation of Nations, which opened at the National Museum of History and Technology in 1976. Materials include the correspondence, memoranda, and notes of Carl H. Scheele and Richard E. Ahlborn, Co-chairmen of the exhibition; and Ellen Roney Hughes, exhibition coordinator. Materials also include script; production schedule; budget summaries; contracts; exhibition installation photographs; news releases; meeting minutes; articles; information pertaining to loans, conservation issues, and special programs; exhibition catalogue planning records; construction specifications and floor plans; and exhibition opening photographs.
