"Yesterday's Tomorrows: Visions of the Future on Film" is an 18 minute compilation of scenes from futuristic, science fiction, and scientific films from 1902-1982. It was used to supplement the National Museum of American History's 1984 exhibition titled Yesterday's Tomorrows: Past Visions of the American Future. "300 Years of American Papermaking" is an interactive video that accompanied the National Museum of American History exhibition of the same name. The exhibition commemorated the building of the first paper mill in the American colonies in 1690 near Germantown (Philadelphia, Pa.), by William Rittenhouse and his partners; the men and women who contributed to the industry's astonishing growth; and the manifold utilitarian and artistic uses of paper products. "Woody Guthrie's Legacy" is a 16 minute video that accompanied the 2000 National Museum of American History exhibit, This Land is Your Land: The Life and Legacy of Woody Guthrie. It was only distributed to media professionals. The video was based on discussions at a meeting about the global environment, held in September 1989. "Thomas Edison and His Amazing Invention Factory" is a 28 minute film produced in 1979 to accompany the exhibition, Edison: Lighting a Revolution at the National Museum of History and Technology. The film was a biographical piece featuring the Thomas A. Edison, the invention of electric light, and the founding of research labs. It won the 1980 CINE Golden Eagle Award and musical commentary is by the Iron Clad Agreement. "The Buried Mirror: Reflections on Spain and the New World" is a five video series written and narrated by Mexican writer and social commentator Carlos Fuentes that tells the story of Spanish and Latin American civilizations from the beginnings of history to the present. Each video was 59 minutes long and was recorded in both English and Spanish. The videos were presented by Sogetel in association with the Smithsonian Institution and Comisin? Nacional del Quinto Centenario del Descubrimiento de Amrica (Spain). They were first aired in the United States on the Discovery Channel in conjunction with the Columbus Quincentenary.
