This accession consists of records created and maintained by Marsha E. Sitnik documenting scientific relations between the Smithsonian Institution (SI) and foreign countries, particularly pertaining to biological diversity. The files were collected by Sitnik while she held positions with a variety of SI units, including SI, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Science; National Museum of Natural History (NMNH), Office of the Director; NMNH, Biodiversity Program; NMNH, Department of Systematic Biology; and NMNH, Center for Biological and Cultural Diversity.
