This accession consists of records documenting the development, design, and execution of special exhibitions at the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH). Some records also document installations of these NMNH exhibitions at other museums or traveling exhibitions from other museums that were installed at NMNH. Materials include scripts, installation images, images used in the exhibitions, educational materials, graphics packages, press releases, media books, object lists, condition reports, installation instruction manuals, label copy, floor plans, a grant proposal for "Spiders!," concept sketches, technical drawings, a visitor log, brochures, clippings, schedules, and related materials. Some materials are in electronic format. Materials also include some rights information, particularly music rights, for videos accompanying "Spiders!."
