This accession consists of records documenting the planning, design, funding, and installation of exhibitions. The records were created and maintained by Ann Yonemura, Assistant Curator of Japanese Art and, beginning in 1990, Associate Curator of Japanese Art. Exhibitions documented in this accession include "Ancient Japan" and "Yokohama: Prints from Nineteenth Century Japan." Both exhibitions were installed in the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, brochures, floor plans, schedules, contracts, budgets, object lists, label text, grant information, and related materials.
