This accession consists of outreach records produced by the Constituent Outreach subgroup of the Community and Constituent Services Department. Constituent Outreach is responsible for the programs and services developed specifically to address the needs and concerns of the National Museum of the American Indian's (NMAI) Native constituencies. This includes coordinating the Native Arts and Native Audio programs; internships; visiting professionals programs; community museum workshops and tribal museum technical assistance programs; repatriation program; cultural activities programs; culturally sensitive collections management; and cultural protocol guidelines development. Included in this accession are guides to the programs and services provided by the museum for 2009-2010 in both English and Spanish.
