Descriptive Entry
This accession consists of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI) website as it existed in April 2010. The website, in both English and Spanish, includes general information about STRI and its research programs and facilities as well as its partner programs. Also included are a variety of species and other research datasets; photographs of the week; news and information for the media; and the children's website, "Fossil Sharks in Panama." The website for the Center for Tropical Forest Science, which is distinctly separate from the main STRI website, and the blog, "Center for Tropical Forest Science News" are part of this accession as well. Materials include websites and a blog and are in electronic format.
