Descriptive Entry
Descriptive Entry
This accession consists of records documenting the Joint Atlantic Seminar in History of Biology (JASHB). The first annual JASHB was held in 1965 as an informal meeting of students and faculty from several campuses to discuss their work and soon became a training ground for future academics who were not yet ready to present at the more formal meetings of the History of Science Society. There is no standing committee providing oversight and seminars are "spontaneously" organized each year. Materials include programs, lists of attendees, flyers, correspondence, and informational materials.
