This accession consists of the papers of Philip K. Lundeberg, Curator Emeritus at the National Museum of American History, documenting his maritime history research and museum related projects in regard to the Gunboat Philadelphia. Materials include correspondence and memoranda; Lundeberg's lecture papers, articles, and publication, The Gunboat 'Philadelphia' and the Defense of Lake Champlain in 1776, information about the installation of the Gunboat Philadelphia in the Hall of Armed Forces History; and photographs.
