This accession consists of nineteen field books of E. C. (Emery Clarence) Leonard from collecting trips to Haiti and throughout the United States, particularly in Maryland, Virginia, and Ohio. The field books include plant lists, diary entries, checklists, scientific illustrations, a photograph, and several maps, both hand-drawn and published. Leonard collected with Ellsworth Paine Killip and G. M. Leonard.
