This accession consists of printouts of the Lemelson Center website as it existed on May 31, 1995, and on April 10, 1996. Also included are statistics regarding visitor usage of the website. The Lemelson Center was founded in 1995 at the National Museum of American History. Its mission is to document, interpret, and disseminate information about invention and innovation; to encourage inventive creativity in young people; and to foster an appreciation for the central role of invention and innovation in the history of the United States.
