This accession consists of records documenting the research, planning, design, execution, and installation of the exhibition, "Set in Style: The Jewelry of Van Cleef and Arpels," on display at the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum from February 18, 2011 through July 4, 2011. Records also document a book by the same name. The exhibition was curated by Sarah Coffin and the book was co-authored by Coffin, Suzy Menkes, and Ruth A. Peltason. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, didactics, label texts, graphics, installation drawings, floor plans, essays, checklists, object lists, brochure texts, meeting notes, background materials, and related materials.
