This accession consists of audiovisual materials recorded or collected by the Office of Public Programs to be used in programs at the National Museum of American Art (NMAA). Some of the materials come from when the office was known as the Department of Education and from when the museum was known as the National Collection of Fine Arts (NCFA). Topics covered by the records include photography history, art history, staff meetings, historic preservation, painting, graphic arts, and lithography. Also documented are the exhibitions Craft Multiples and Explorations. Materials include videotapes, audiotapes, and motion picture film.
